Katsushika Food Festa is the largest food festival in Katsushika City. A wide variety of food will be available at Shinkoiwa Park, including offerings from long-established Japanese sweets shops that have been loved by the local community for generations and popular ramen restaurants. Enjoy Everything From Delicious Katsushika Sweets to Authentic Local Dishes

This year, 40 restaurants and food manufacturers with brick-and-mortar locations in Katsushika City will participate. The lineup is designed to introduce visitors to Katsushika's food culture and its many unique eateries through their signature offerings, including Japanese and Western sweets like crepes and kusa-dango (mugwort dumplings), as well as eel, ramen, bread, and burgers. The venue will also feature stage events with a variety of special guests, so we recommend enjoying the lively performances while you find your favorite bites by sampling food from different booths. For the first time this year, the festival will also feature inflatable playground equipment, as well as a Beyblade experience area in cooperation with TOMY Company, Ltd. From delicious food to fun activities, there's plenty to keep the whole family entertained all day long.

Katsushika Food Festa started in 2014 with the aim of showcasing the appeal of Katsushika's food culture and revitalizing the local economy, and is held annually in November at Shinkoiwa Park. It has since become a popular annual autumn food event in the local community, and in 2025, approximately 78,000 people attended over two days. Through the event, the organizers hope to introduce people from Japan and around the world to the depth and diversity of Katsushika's food culture. They also aim to contribute to the local economy by encouraging visitors to explore restaurants and shops throughout Katsushika after the festival.
